The Why Behind
I wanted them to immediately see the value of what they invested in and to know that I was here for them every step of the way! So, I thought back to when I was a bride and what was the one thing that got me through it all. It was my wedding planning binder that I had created from scratch by compiling endless PDFs and hours of reading blog posts.
The Workbook!
I decided two years ago that I wanted to send something pretty and helpful to my couples immediately after they booked me!!
I wanted to provide this for each of my couples. So I started designing a 100+ page wedding planning workbook for my couples! I designed this fully for them... but I didn't expect the amount of return I got back when each of my couples had their days planned out ahead of time and felt calm through the whole process.
This workbook is full of wedding planning education, that my brides don't need to send me constant emails asking what the next step is, or waste hours on the internet searching for the answers. I realized that my brides envisioned exactly how they wanted their day to be, but no one had ever educated them on HOW to make that happen!! They were spending tons of time trying to find each step individually, not knowing if they were missing any steps along the way.
This magazine was what allowed me to be there for them right from the start, while giving them the peace of mind that they were doing everything they needed to when they needed to, to have the wedding of their dreams. And to do it with minimal stress! I have decided to not only allow other photographers to have access to the DESIGN, but also to ALL OF MY TEXT CONTENT! All you have to do is insert your own images, send it to your brides and then FINALLY have wedding days that are beautifully designed and couples that are confident the entire way through.

Step One: DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATE
YAY! You've purchased your Wedding Workbook Template and you're ready to get started making it your own! You can download the file from the confirmation page or your download email. Once it's finished downloading simply double click on the "main template" Indesign file!

Step two: add your photos
Once your template is open in Indesign, you need to swap out my images for your own! Feel free to use images similar to mine to get you started! If you are new to Indesign, I promise it's easy to learn! To replace an image: select it -> File -> Place -> choose new image -> select "fit content to frame".
UP NEXT
Step three: text edits
Included with this template is ALL OF MY TEXT!! And guess what!? You can use as much or as little of it as you'd like! You may prefer to just do a few minor tweaks like name changes, wedding tips, etc or perhaps you'd like to just use my text as a framework to write your own so that it sounds exactly like YOU! Either option is perfect, whichever you prefer!

Step four: export from indesign
Once you are done making changes to your Workbook, it's time to export it!! The exporting process is included in your "Thank You" Video that comes with your template. First you'll need to change the document to "CMYK" under "edit". And then you're ready to go File -> Export -> Adobe Print -> select pages. And Wa-LA your guide is exported and ready to be printed or published online!

Step five: PRINTING OR PUBLISHING
Now that your Bridal Guide is successfully exported, you are ready to either order printed copies or upload the final file to share with clients electronically once they book with you! I highly recommend printing, it looks SO legit to send an actual physical magazine to your couples! I print using Magcloud and LOVE it!

Step six: SEND TO YOUR COUPLES
Once you have your printed Bridal Guide in hand you are ready to WOW your clients as they book with you! Once a client is officially official package up the Wedding Workbook, maybe tie a bow around it and include a hand written note! Your couple is sure to be impressed and inspired as they plan their big day with photography in mind!
