Oh, friends! I am so excited to share Nicole and Vincent’s Philadelphia (I mean, Jefferson!) University engagement session with you today!
I’ve been looking forward to Nicole and Vincent’s engagement session for what feels like forever! Vincent and Nicole both graduated from Philadelphia University two years before me. Vincent was in the architecture program with me, while Nicole was in interior design, so our paths crossed a few times in gen ed. classes and through the design studios. Nicole even remembers having Chemistry class together my freshman year, with our crazy professor that broke his foot and had to roll around on a scooter the entire semester to teach. When they mentioned they wanted to do their engagement session at their Alma Mater, I was so excited because that meant I would be able to go back and visit mine as well!! Within seconds of shooting them, I knew the rest of their session would be a blast.
THEIR WARM SMILES AND BIG HEARTS JUST RADIATE LOVE
I love shooting in new spots, but this one was a bit of a bonus because, although it was new in the photography sense, it was my old stomping grounds not too long ago. Throughout our years in college, we were normally running from class to studio because there was never enough time during the day, so just walking around the campus in no rush was quite new for us. We even found a few spots that we never took time to look at or appreciate while we were in college. We were talking during the session, and all three of us loved this college because of the close proximity to Philadelphia City, but the campus was spread our and surrounded by a lot of greenery and open space. Almost like the best of both worlds.
Philadelphia had been getting off-and-on rain for the past several weeks, but the clouds parted just in time for the session. It was so nice that evening that we were able to go to Falls Bridge, the location where Vincent proposed, and end the session with sunset photos on the bridge. Nicole and Vincent are two of the sweetest people. Their warm smiles and big hearts just radiate love. I had so much fun spending the evening with them at our Alma Mater. I loved that we were able to incorporate so many special locations into their engagement session!
Nicole and Vincent, I’m so excited for your wedding day! Thank you for being such a joy to be around! I had so much fun with you guys, and I have so many new favorites from this session! I cannot wait to do this all again on your big day! It’s going to be here before we know it!
XOXO ~ Heather Marie
