The morning started out rainy and gloomy. Constantly switching from rain showers to thick clouds rolling through.
Not what they had hoped for their blush Inn at Leola Village wedding.
Anne and Dominick kept their spirits high, though, and had faith! So much so that they made the decision three hours before the ceremony to keep it outside, even with a forecast that was constantly back-and-forth. (Just so you know, the rain held off, even though the clouds were above us.)
Their positivity shined through the entire day!
Let me give a quick backstory to this amazing couple. Anne and Dominick booked with me three years ago with a wedding date in 2020. Due to the unfortunate shutdowns that plagued our nation the past couple of years, they had to push their date back twice. Finally landing on April 9, 2022. However, I had the honor of photographing their intimate wedding back in April 2021.
It was absolutely beautiful!!
It was even more special for me to be able to come back this year and capture it all again with them. After three years together, these two have truly become close friends! So to finally see them celebrate with all their friends and family meant so much to me after all they had been through!
This celebration was definitely deserved for the two of them!
But with an intimate wedding the year prior, I am always curious what the emotions will be for the couple on the wedding day, part 2. Will it feel like just going through the motions, or will it still impact them as if it was the first time? That was my question leading into their day.
Their first look was all I needed to know the answer!
Anne and Dominick decided to still do a first look because she had a new dress to surprise him with. As we were getting Dominick set up, you could tell the excitement was slowly creeping in. Even with Anne already being his wife, this day still meant so much to him!
But it wasn’t until she turned around that I truly knew how much it meant!
As Anne walked closer and called his name to turn around, Dominick’s eyes instantly started to water. He was truly so excited to see her and in complete awe of how beautiful she looked in her dress. I think no matter if they did their wedding day over and over again each year, he would still be brought to tears!
The love they have for each other is unending!
It truly was a special moment to be a part of! That is how I hope every HMP couple feels on their anniversary! Just as excited and in love as their wedding day! Dominick and Anne, THANK YOU! Thank you for allowing to be a part of this journey with you. Thank you for letting me capture both of your beautiful wedding days. You two are the absolute best. Filled with so much love, constant happiness, and an unfading confidence!
You deserved this day!
And what a celebration it was! Nonstop dancing the entire night. Constant hugs and congrats from all the guests. So much support and love! You have the best group of people surrounding you! I can’t wait to see where life takes you! But, before you start that next chapter, I am so excited to give you “at least” one more gallery from your day! Below are some of my absolute favorites from your blush Inn at Leola Village Wedding. Enjoy as I finish editing your full gallery!
