Mint and Navy Elizabeth Furnace Wedding

Kara and Gerry’s mint and navy Elizabeth Furnace wedding was an absolute blast!

It had rained the entire day prior to their wedding, and unfortunately, the forecast was showing it carrying into their day. As the team arrived, a steady mist was falling; however, entering the bridal suite, you couldn’t even see a care in the world about the weather outside. Kara and her ladies were having the best time getting ready and staying positive that the forecast would clear. Sure enough, by the time getting ready photos were finished, the mist had disappeared! By the end of the day, the sun had even peaked out for a few minutes here and there!

The positive vibes worked!

As a wedding photographers, we’ve seen our fair share of wedding parties, but this one was definitely unique. There was no request too much for them! Those types of wedding parties make our job so easy and a blast while doing it. The best man truly showed just how fun they can be during his best man speech!

It was one for the history books!

It started out like any other speech, but then he reached into his inner coat pocket and pulled out…a scroll! He had his speech written out on an 8-foot long scroll because he just had so much to say about Gerry and Kara! The entire room was cracking up as the paper unrolled across the floor!

Their entire day was filled with unique moments like this!

However, one moment will forever stand out among all the rest. It is one that doesn’t always happen on wedding days, but when they do, they are absolute tear jerkers. It’s the speech from the father-of-the bride! Kara’s dad had the whole room in tears. The love between a father and daughter is like no other, and that couldn’t be any more true between these two!

That bond is unbreakable!

Kara and Gerry were incredibly kind, funny, and just an absolute joy to work with! They are surrounded by the most supportive and kind family and friends! We honestly felt like guests at their mint and navy Elizabeth Furnace wedding, that’s how welcoming everyone was. It was an honor to be a part of this entire journey with them! Congratulations to the newlyweds! We can’t wait to see what your future holds now that you are Mr. and Mrs.!
