Spring is in full stride here in Pennsylvania, and with it comes the perfect weather and blooming florals for all senior sessions. Emily, a photographer on the HMP Team, had the pleasure of working with Isabella, a high school senior, for her Reading Public Museum senior session. The day was overcast as they were fighting to beat the rain to get the session in. It may be crazy to believe, but overcast is sometimes just as great as a sunny day when it comes to photography.
Let me explain.
The cloud cover allows us to position our clients in directions we typically can’t, due to the intense sun and shadows that would be hitting their faces. So on overcast days, we are able to use backdrops we otherwise can’t! It is a real treat and opens up so many more opportunities!
A photographer’s dream!
Reading Public Library is a fairly new location for HMP, and then to be able to shoot anywhere there, the variety was overflowing for Isabella’s session! Plus, all of the florals around the grounds were in full bloom! The Reading Public Museum senior session was so much more than just the beautiful background; it was a time to showcase Isabella’s personality. She is a fun, positive spirit that just lights up a room. Her smile is contagious, and you can feel the happiness in each of her photos! Isabella is a natural in front of the camera!
