Lakefield Weddings Boho Wedding

It was a gorgeous September day. The mist from earlier had dissipated, and the clouds were a light layer in the sky. The ideal condition, not gloomy, but also no harsh shadows across their faces.

It was turning out to be a perfect Lakefield Weddings boho wedding.

Joe was at the front of the aisle anxiously waiting. Behind him, a beautiful pond with a willow tree off in the distance. A picturesque location to say I do. His eyes were locked on the top of the stairs. Other than a first touch during their private vows, Joe hadn’t seen her yet.

The excitement was mounting!

It was finally time. The music changed. Slowly coming into view, Kayla walked towards the top of the stairs. Arm linked around her dad for support. She was just as excited for this moment. They carefully made their way down the stone stairs and down the sloped grass to the aisle. As each step brought her closer, Joe couldn’t hold it in anymore. His emotions began to pour out. Wiping his eyes, so he could see her clearly.

She was more beautiful every step she took!

Recently, so many of my couples have done first looks. Which I love those private intimate moments. But when a couple decides to not do a first look, it makes me fall in love with that decision over and over again. I just love watching as they lock eyes on each other. Everything else around them fades away, and the joy, or emotion, hits their face.

It’s priceless!

That moment for Kayla and Joe at their Lakefield Weddings boho wedding felt like it stopped time. It was as if they were having their own private moment, even though they were surrounded by all their loved ones. It will be a moment to remember.

Kayla and Joe, you two are an absolute blast! I absolutely loved every moment I got to cheer you two on, capture photos, and just laugh with you two. You bring so much brightness to everyone’s days, and you truly had the most beautiful day. I am so happy for you two and this next journey you get to embark on together.
