Family!
Megan and Kyle’s wedding felt like one big family. Even from the moment it began. Typically, it is said that two families are joining as one, but the whole day you couldn’t tell who was on the bride’s side and who was on the groom’s. Plus even we, the vendors, felt like family.
Their the Manor House at Prophecy Creek fall wedding was a true celebration.
I had met Megan almost three years prior to their wedding day. She was a bridesmaid for one of my past HMP Couples, Naomi and Shawn. (You can check out their wedding day here). It was Megan (the bride’s niece) and the bride’s daughters as the bridesmaids that day. As you can guess, that was a very family-oriented wedding as well.
Those are my favorites!
I am a huge family person, so seeing other couples bring their family members into their wedding day is so special to me. For Megan and Kyle’s wedding, Megan had her cousins, the ones from the past wedding, as her bridesmaids, as well. It was so special walking into the bridal suite and all the girls instantly screaming my name and coming up to hug me instantly.
I just felt right at home!
This whole family is so special to me. They have always welcomed me in as one of their own. From the grandparents to aunt and uncles and even the young cousins, they all instantly remembered who I was. On days like this I forget I’m working because I just enjoy it so much! Kyle’s family was just as welcoming even with meeting me for the first time.
I left that evening feeling so blessed!
Megan and Kyle, your day was beautiful. Even though the weather wasn’t quite how you had hoped, the Manor House at Prophecy Creek was the perfect venue. The amount of beautiful indoor options was incredible. It all but felt like we were outside. And you two had the best attitude. You truly embraced it in every way and were just so excited to marry one another.
That is what it was all about!
I’m so glad we were able to sneak outside for 15 minutes during “sunset time” when the rain died down for a few moments. Those umbrella photos will be some of my favorites for years to come! The night ended in a bang. What a reception! You had everyone up on their feet having a great time. This will be a night to remember for not only you two, but your guests and me, as well. Congratulations, Megan and Kyle!
