So far this year, I have turned on the OOO responder and traveled to Texas and Florida!

I had never been to Texas before, and Florida is always a favorite place to visit.

Texas was for the Creative Educator Conference. It was freezing cold, so I didn’t really explore the state but got to connect with so many new friends and ingest endless amounts of knowledge to implement into my business.

Then two weeks later, it was off to Rosemary Beach Florida for Conquer Live!! If you didn’t know, I co-host the Conquer Community, and once a year we host Conquer Live, an intimate event for photographers in their first few years of business that combines the intimacy of a retreat with the best parts of a conference to strengthen your community and truly help you conquer the hurdles in your business. Even as an educator and host, this event is so life-giving every year!

One big thing these two trips have in common is that they both were for a business purpose. Which, for taxes, should perk your ears up! When you are traveling specifically for a business reason, several expenses on your trip can be a tax write-off!!
