I’m still smiling thinking about Ebony’s Masonic Village Spring Senior Session. She is one of the sweetest souls I’ve had the joy of photographing! With a heart full of dreams and the brightest smile, Ebony brought so much warmth and light to every frame. She’s heading off to North Carolina this fall to study nursing, and I know she’s going to make such an incredible impact wherever she goes.

A Dreamy Start in White

We kicked things off with Ebony in the most adorable white flowy dress—simple, fresh, and so her. We started along a quiet street at Masonic Village, lined with gorgeous green trees that created the perfect natural frame. The way her dress popped against the vibrant leaves felt like magic, and I could already tell this session was going to be a favorite.

Cap and Gown with a Touch of Architecture

From there, we moved to one of the stunning stone monuments on the property. Masonic Village has so many unique backdrops, and this one added a more formal, architectural vibe to Ebony’s cap and gown portraits. She wore her graduation gear with pride and grace, and I loved how these photos captured both the excitement of her accomplishment and the elegance of the space.

Chasing Spring Blooms

Now, if you know me, you know I love finding pops of color in my sessions—especially spring flowers! Ebony had really hoped for some floral photos, but most blooms hadn’t made their debut yet. But just as we were driving to our next spot, I saw it…a bush bursting with gorgeous purple flowers on the side of the road. We made a quick turn and grabbed some of the most vibrant shots of the day—worth every second of spontaneity!

Sunset and College Pride in the Gardens

To wrap up her Masonic Village Spring Senior Session, we wandered into the formal gardens just as the sun began to dip. Ebony changed into a casual white top and jeans (so cute!) and ended in her future college T-shirt. One of my favorite parts of this session? She brought a flag representing her school, and we had so much fun getting creative with it, celebrating her next big chapter.

Why I Love Masonic Village for Senior Photos

Masonic Village is such a gem for senior sessions—wide open spaces, charming pathways, formal gardens, and those unexpected surprises (like flower bushes!) that bring so much variety and personality to each shoot. It’s one of those places that adapts to your senior’s energy, whether playful and carefree or elegant and refined.
