Cloudy Wildflower Field Senior Session | Ally Eager

This cloudy wildflower field senior session with Ally Eager, one of my 2026 senior spokesmodels, was such a highlight of my summer! I’ve been joking that I basically live at the Wildflower Lookout because I’m there once or twice a week. But honestly…with fields this stunning, I’ll never complain. And this time was extra fun because Ally brought the best energy and some seriously amazing outfit choices.

Outfits That Show Personality

One of my favorite parts of photographing seniors is seeing how their outfits reflect their personality. Ally’s looks were so unique and gave us something fresh to highlight with each location change. One of my favorites was her light blue sundress paired with cowgirl boots. It not only complemented the flowers beautifully but was also perfect for a few portraits with the rustic wooden wagon staged at the Lookout.

She saved the best surprise for last: a jean skirt with a floral top and the year “2026” embroidered on the back. How cute is that?! Such a fun, personal touch and a creative way to celebrate her senior year.

Sunflowers + Cloudy Day Magic

We also got incredibly lucky with timing. The sunflowers had just bloomed that weekend, so we were among the first to photograph in those trails. And while the sky was overcast, I always remind my seniors that a cloudy day is a photographer’s secret weapon. Without harsh sunlight, we can shoot at angles and in spots that normally wouldn’t work, making it easier to get a variety of beautiful, flattering images.

A Session to Remember

Ally brought such a fun, down-for-anything attitude to her cloudy wildflower field senior session, which made the evening fly by in the best way. I left with so many favorites that I can’t wait to share, and I’m even more excited for all the other fun sessions we’ll have together this year as part of the spokesmodel team.
