What an evening! Amber and Chris’s downtown New Hope engagement session was one of those nights where everything just felt right. Perfect golden light, the cutest little town, and a couple who made me laugh nonstop.
We started exploring the charming streets of New Hope with its colorful storefronts, old brick roads, and endless character. There’s something so special about this spot. Every turn feels like a postcard! From the historic train station to the riverside walk, it was a dream location for capturing a mix of cozy and romantic moments. And can we talk about Amber’s velvet maroon dress?! It brought all the fall vibes – timeless, bold, and stunning against the town’s colorful backdrop.
Cozy, Romantic, and Full of Laughs
Amber and Chris are the kind of couple that just radiate joy. They’re laid back, funny, and clearly best friends first. We had so much fun wandering through downtown, laughing between poses, and pausing to sneak in a few shots with their adorable pups, Benny and Jerry (and yes, they’re just as cute as their names suggest!). The dogs totally stole the show for a few minutes. Honestly, I wasn’t mad about it!
As the sun dipped lower, the light turned into that dreamy golden glow photographers live for. We ended their session right where their love story began. At the restaurant where they had their first date. Talk about a full-circle moment!
A Love Story Rooted in Laughter
Amber and Chris first met online, and their connection was instant. When Chris proposed, Amber had a pretty good idea it was coming (she may or may not have spotted the ring box in his pocket), but the real surprise came when her sister popped out to capture the moment! They celebrated afterward with dinner at one of their favorite spots in, you guessed it, New Hope.
These two love exploring new restaurants and breweries, spending time outdoors, and cozy Netflix nights. They’re fun, easygoing, and just so in tune with each other. That energy came through in every photo.
This downtown New Hope engagement session was the perfect mix of laughter, warmth, and love. It made me even more excited for their wedding day. Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do, capturing moments that feel real, joyful, and completely them.
XOXO ~ Heather Marie
