Oh my goodness! This Conestoga House and Gardens engagement session was a total dream from start to finish! We had the entire place to ourselves, and as the golden evening light started to filter through the trees, it created the most magical glow. Add in two people who are absolutely smitten with each other, and it was the perfect combination.

I first met Julie and Connor back in April when I photographed her brother’s wedding, and I remember instantly thinking how sweet they were together. So, when they reached out for their own session, I was so excited to have them in front of my camera again.

An Intimate Celebration of Love

Julie and Connor are planning an intimate wedding this March at a cozy Airbnb surrounded by just 30 of their closest loved ones. Because of that, this session served as both their engagement and wedding portraits, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The gardens at Conestoga House are timeless, elegant, and full of variety. Just like these two.

One of their favorite spots (and mine!) was the black-and-white checkered tile room. It gave their photos such a classy and stylish feel, while still showing off their easy laughter and genuine connection. The way Connor looks at Julie could melt anyone’s heart. I think you’ll see exactly what I mean in the photos!

Golden Hour Magic at Conestoga House and Gardens

We wandered through the pathways and open gardens as the sun began to set, soaking in that soft, dreamy glow. Julie’s ring sparkled beautifully in the light, and every time Connor reached for her hand, she just beamed. The whole evening was relaxed, full of laughter, and so them.

Sessions like this are what I love most. Capturing couples in a way that feels authentic, joyful, and true to who they are. I left the session with a full heart. Feeling so honored to document another milestone for such a kind and loving couple.
