The Barn at Silverstone Fall Wedding | Gina & James

What a perfect way to wrap up my 2025 wedding season. Celebrating Gina and James at The Barn at Silverstone! Their day was everything a fall wedding should be: a breeze, golden tones in the trees, and a whole lot of laughter. After their engagement session in Washington, D.C. (where it poured the entire time!), we were all crossing our fingers for good weather — and wow, did we get it.

A Ceremony Full of Anticipation

Gina and James decided to wait to see each other until the ceremony, and it made that moment at the altar even more special. The excitement in the air was contagious. As Gina walked down the aisle in her stunning gown and long, flowing veil, the entire moment seemed to pause. That veil caught the light breeze just right. It was pure magic.

The color palette was perfect for fall. Bridesmaids in rich burnt orange dresses; the guys in sharp blue suits. Creating such a beautiful, timeless contrast against the barn’s warm tones.

Kids at Heart

If I had to sum up Gina and James’s day in one phrase, it would be joyful. These two describe themselves as kids at heart, and it showed in every single detail. From their first dance “on a cloud” (yes, literal fog machine magic!) to their adorable dinosaur cake toppers and the incredible fireworks display that ended the night, their day was all about fun, love, and personality.

Everywhere I turned, guests were smiling, laughing, and celebrating right alongside them. It was one of those days where you can just feel how loved the couple is.

The Perfect End to the Season

As the sun set behind the barn, we snuck away for some husband and wife portraits, and the light was breathtaking. Gina’s veil caught the breeze one last time, and it was the perfect ending to a perfect day and an incredible wedding season.
