As a wedding photographer who loves helping couples be fully present and soak in every moment of their day, I get to experience some truly incredible venues—but this Heritage Hills Resort Spring Wedding in York, PA was an unforgettable first for me! Jayme and Ryan’s day had all the magic: heartfelt moments, gorgeous scenery, and a dance floor that could’ve rivaled a music video shoot.

Getting Ready at Heritage Hills Resort

Let’s talk about the bridal suite. 😍 When I walked into the getting-ready space at Heritage Hills Resort, my jaw hit the floor. The suite features a two-story, floor-to-ceiling glass arch overlooking the golf course, and the view is breathtaking. When Jayme stood in front of that window, the soft light pouring in, dress flowing—it was like a scene straight out of a bridal fashion editorial. Absolutely stunning.

Jayme and Ryan loved the space so much that they chose to do their first look and private vows right in front of that window. It was emotional, intimate, and full of love—and it photographed like a dream!

A Day of Cloudy Skies and Beautiful Light

The forecast had been calling for rain all day, but we ended up with nothing but soft, dreamy clouds—my favorite kind of light! We were able to explore the property for portraits, and every spot gave us a new opportunity for romantic, candid moments. The lush greens of the golf course, the elegant resort architecture, and the quiet walkways were perfect backdrops for the joy these two brought to every moment.

Celebrating with Their People

One of my favorite things about this wedding was how Jayme and Ryan built a day that truly reflected them. Their bridal parties were co-ed, with friends and loved ones standing by their side regardless of gender. It was beautiful to witness a celebration that was so inclusive and heartfelt—and it made for some of the most genuine and joyful group photos I’ve ever taken!

And then… the reception. WOW. The dance floor was on fire from start to finish. I’ve never seen a group with that much energy, and Ryan? That guy can MOVE. From the first dance to the final song, the energy never dipped—and I loved being right in the action capturing every epic moment.

Why I Can’t Wait to Be Back

As my first time photographing a wedding at Heritage Hills, this experience left me so inspired. The venue is elegant yet welcoming, with so many thoughtfully designed spaces. The natural beauty of the golf course, the light-filled architecture, and the exceptional staff made everything run smoothly. I’m already counting down the days until I get to return.
