Madison and Alejandro’s summer Riverdale Manor wedding was the kind of day that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. Full of emotion, meaning, music, and moments that felt completely, beautifully them.

Even though the heat showed up in full force, these two never let it steal the spotlight. From beginning to end, they were focused on the reason behind it all: their love and commitment to one another.

A Ceremony with Surprise and Song

Their ceremony was one of the most touching I’ve ever witnessed. As Madison and Alejandro stood together, surrounded by loved ones, their bridal party and family surprised them with a live performance of a special song. Tears were flowing, and you could feel the connection pulsing through every note. It was the perfect reflection of who they are, as a couple and as music teachers who share a deep love of harmony in every sense of the word.

They even included sheet music with their wedding details, a subtle and beautiful nod to their passion for music woven right into the day.

First Dances & Fun Twists

Now let’s talk about that first dance. What started as a dreamy, choreographed waltz to Beauty and the Beast quickly turned into a full-blown upbeat salsa routine that had everyone cheering! The dip, the spins, the energy. They completely lit up the dance floor.

And when I was least expecting it, I was even serenaded by the groom squad (yes, really!) with their own mini quartet performance during groomsmen portraits. Let’s just say my mouth was on the floor, and I had the biggest smile behind the camera the entire time.

Sunset Magic Before the Storm

We snuck away for sunset portraits at just the right moment, soft golden light and calm skies made for the most romantic portraits. Not ten minutes later, the sky opened up and a huge summer storm rolled in. The timing could not have been more perfect, and I’m so thankful we caught those quiet, golden moments while we could.

Why I Love Weddings at Riverdale Manor

Riverdale Manor is one of my favorite Lancaster wedding venues. With its elegant greenery, riverside views, and that stunning ceremony space; it brings such a romantic, peaceful energy to every celebration. Whether you’re dancing in the ballroom or sneaking away for sunset by the water, the venue always feels intimate and picturesque. Especially during a summer Riverdale Manor wedding.

Madison and Alejandro, thank you for letting me be a part of your love story. Your joy, your people, your music, and your connection were such a gift to witness. I’ll be smiling about your dance and that surprise serenade for a long time.
