Madison and Zack’s fall Hibernia Park engagement session was cozy, playful, and filled with laughter from beginning to end. These two are the kind of couple you just know are going to have a lifetime of fun together. I loved getting to capture that energy during their session.
They first met in such a fun way! At a bar, when Madison made a bet with Zack to see who could get a drink faster, he won (thanks to secretly knowing the bartenders!), and the rest is history. That playful banter still shines through in their relationship. It was on full display during their engagement session with piggyback rides, bumping hips, and so many genuine laughs.
From Wildflowers to Golden Hour by the Lake
We started their session in Hibernia Park’s beautiful wildflower fields, where Madison’s smile lit up every frame. From there, we wandered down to the banks of the lake just as the sun began to dip below the trees. The golden light reflecting off the water was absolutely dreamy, wrapping these two in the softest glow. We ended the evening in front of the park’s historic mansion which added a timeless, romantic touch to balance out their playful portraits.
A Love Story at the Beach
Zack’s proposal was straight out of a rom-com. He took Madison back to Dewey Beach, where it all began, and set up a sweet little spot on the sand. Madison thought they were just going for brunch, but instead, Zack surprised her with the most meaningful question of all. Both of them cried, and later that night, their closest friends and family were waiting at a favorite brewery to celebrate with them. It was the perfect reflection of who they are: deeply connected, surrounded by love, and always up for making memories together.
Adventurous & Outdoorsy
One of the things I adore about Madison and Zack is how they balance adventure with relaxation. They love exploring new places with their dog, Kona, going camping, wine tasting, or simply enjoying a quiet night in watching movies. That adventurous, outdoorsy energy fit perfectly with Hibernia Park’s natural beauty, and I think their photos capture both their playful side and their deep love for one another.
Madison and Zack’s fall Hibernia Park engagement session was such a joy to photograph, and I can’t wait to celebrate with them at their June 2026 wedding. These two are the perfect mix of cozy, fun, and adventurous. I feel so lucky to be part of their story.
