This weekend, one of our amazing HMP team members, Kailyn, had the joy of capturing Abby and Julian’s downtown Bethlehem engagement session. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day!

Bethlehem is one of those towns that just radiates charm. Cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and cozy corners that are made for photos filled with warmth and connection. Even though the city was buzzing with multiple events that day, the stars aligned. The historic spots we had our eye on were surprisingly quiet, giving Abby and Julian their own little pockets of calm amid the energy of the town.

A Couple as Sweet as They Come

Abby and Julian are the kind of couple that remind us why we love what we do. They’re down-to-earth, full of laughter, and so easy to be around. Within minutes of the session starting, you could just tell how much they adore each other. The soft smiles, the genuine laughter, and those sweet little glances between poses said it all.

They were also total naturals in front of the camera! From cozy cuddles to playful spins on the sidewalk, they were up for anything, and Kailyn loved getting creative with them.

A Life Built on Love (and Pets!)

When they weren’t snuggled up in front of the camera, they were chatting about something very near and dear to their hearts – their pets! Abby and Julian have three dogs and three cats, and yes, they are completely obsessed with them (and we totally get it!). The way they lit up talking about their furry family members showed just how much love they share. Not just with each other but with the life they’re building together.

Abby runs her own pet sitting business, and Julian works in admissions at King’s College. Together, they recently bought their first home. A huge milestone and such an exciting new chapter for them. You could feel that “new beginnings” energy all throughout the session.

Downtown Charm Meets Heartfelt Love

What made this downtown Bethlehem engagement session so special wasn’t just the beautiful backdrops, it was the way Abby and Julian made the city come alive. Their joy was contagious, their laughter filled every street, and their connection made even the simplest moments look cinematic.

Sessions like this are what the HMP team loves most – capturing real love stories for real couples. Whether it’s a bustling downtown or a quiet countryside, we believe your engagement photos should feel like you.
