This Fells Point Engagement Session for Jasmine and Matt was equal parts romantic, playful, and full of personality. Photographed by Joy from the HMP Team, this session perfectly showcased what happens when you mix a fun-loving couple, an iconic location, and a supportive crew that’s willing to do whatever it takes to get the shot.
A Dream Team (Yes, Including the Best Friend)
Jasmine and Matt brought along their friend Sheri, who also happens to be a bridesmaid. Let me just say…every couple needs a Sheri. She held blinds open for 30 minutes, carried bags, and kept an eye out for cars, so Joy could focus on creating magic. Having someone like that along makes such a difference, and it allowed the session to flow effortlessly while keeping things fun and stress-free.
Romantic Beginnings in the Heart of the City
We kicked things off in a cozy bar with a dressier look, leaning into an intimate and romantic vibe. The dim lighting, close quarters, and quiet moments between Jasmine and Matt created such a beautiful atmosphere. These two are so naturally connected. It didn’t take much guidance at all for their love to shine through. Joy captured those in-between moments so beautifully, the kind that feel timeless and full of emotion.
Playful Moments Along the Cobblestone Streets
After soaking in the moody, romantic energy indoors, they headed outside to explore everything Fells Point has to offer. From the historic cobblestone roads to the pier along the water, the second half of their Fells Point Engagement Session was all about movement, laughter, and letting their personalities come alive.
Jasmine and Matt were up for anything. Walking hand in hand, laughing through prompts, and leaning into those playful, carefree moments that make engagement sessions feel so them. The contrast between the romantic bar setting and the bright, energetic waterfront made this session incredibly dynamic and fun.
Why This Session Worked So Well
Between the incredible location, the intentional outfit choices, and the support system they brought with them, this session was a perfect example of how engagement photos can feel both elevated and authentic. Jasmine and Matt trusted Joy fully, and that trust allowed her to create images that truly reflect who they are together.
Sessions like this are such a reminder of why the HMP Team experience matters. From planning to execution, it’s all about creating space for couples to relax, have fun, and walk away with images that feel genuine.
