Some couples are just easy to photograph. They show up comfortable, focused on each other, and the camera almost disappears. Kathleen and Adam are exactly that kind of couple. Their downtown Lancaster summer engagement session was one of those evenings I never wanted to end.

Old Trinity Place

We kicked off the session at Old Trinity Place in the heart of downtown Lancaster. The architecture there gives such a beautiful, timeless backdrop. Right away, Kathleen and Adam filled it with giggles and inside jokes. These two were made for each other, and it shows in every frame.

South County Brewery

Next, we made our way to South County Brewery, custom growler in hand. Their friends and family made it especially for them, and it was the sweetest detail. The brewery buzzed with people that evening. Even so, Kathleen and Adam had no idea. They stayed completely focused on each other, and everything else faded into the background. That kind of presence is rare. It also makes for the most beautiful, natural moments.

Golden Hour at Lancaster County Central Park

Finally, we ended the evening at Lancaster County Central Park. The light delivered in the best way. Golden hour peeked across the tops of the trees in that soft, warm glow that makes everything look like a dream. Kathleen and Adam were radiant, and so was the sky. We soaked up every last minute of it.
