Some couples pull you in quietly. There is no big entrance, no need for one. Alivia and Jesse are exactly that kind of people. Starting in the Pine Tree Grove

We began the session tucked into the pine tree grove at Overlook Park. The shade there creates such a beautiful, intimate contrast to the open sky beyond it. Right away, Alivia and Jesse settled into each other. No stiffness, no awkward warm-up period. Just the two of them, relaxed and present from the very first frame.

Moving Into the Open Fields

From there, we moved out into the open fields as the sun started its descent. The light shifted into that warm, buttery glow that makes everything feel a little softer. Alivia’s long white flowing dress moved beautifully in the open air. Jesse started the session in a white linen button up, then switched to a light blue linen shirt that was the perfect finishing touch against all that golden light.

Ending Among the Wild Grasses

Finally, we made our way to the tall wild grasses as the sun dipped low on the horizon. The light was perfect. That is truly the only word for it. It wrapped around Alivia and Jesse in a way that felt effortless and entirely them.

A great summer Overlook Park engagement session does not require you to be outgoing or camera-ready. Instead, it simply requires you to show up as yourselves. Alivia and Jesse did exactly that. As a result, every single image reflects who they genuinely are together.

Alivia + Jesse Are Getting Married

These two are getting married at The Barn at Silverstone in May 2027. After spending an evening with them, I can say with complete confidence it will be a beautiful, joyful day. I am so ready for it.
