Best of 2022 Engagement Sessions

Engagement sessions are a very important piece to the HMP experience. So much so that they are complimentary in any package that a couple would select.

We consider them that valuable!

First off, they allow the HMP Team to get to know our couples. Being more than just the photographer on their wedding day is a high importance to us. We want to feel like a bonus bridesmaid. Someone you are comfortable around, can ask any question to, and can laugh with. The engagement session is a perfect way to just hang out and chat. Allowing us to get to learn more about them well before the wedding day!

In addition, it is also a huge benefit for the couple!

It allows them to get comfortable in front of our cameras. The reaction, “I don’t know what to do with my hands” is so real. This session allows them to learn our posing process. Understand what makes them feel and look most flattering. Overall, it allows them to become comfortable enough that they forget the cameras are there and can let their relationship shine through. It is so fun to watch their shoulders relax a little and the smiles begin to grow larger.

That is the main goal of each engagement session!

Plus, who doesn’t love to have more photos of their relationship! For some couples, it may even be the first time they are doing professional photos together. Who would want to pass up that opportunity. A fun date night with your soon-to-be husband, plus gorgeous photos to remember it all.

It’s a win-win-win!

This past year’s engagement sessions have us so eager for all that 2023 has to hold! From beautiful architectural monuments to rolling hills, each session brought so much excitement. We never left a session without our cheeks hurting and our hearts happy! Our couples are absolutely incredible and brought their A- game every time. I swear they have to be models.

The love between each couple is unmatched. Their smiles never left their faces. It is an absolute joy to do these sessions every single time. They will NEVER get old!
