I met Amy a few years back. Her parents are members of the church I attend, and she had been going there since she was little. She actually grew up with my husband! Once I started attending the church back in 2010, I would get to meet and chat with Amy whenever she was able to have a break from college or work and be home to attend a service. Although I never got to become super close with her back then, her parents were always so sweet to me, so I knew she had to be such an amazing and light-hearted person as well! We finally really got to know each other while both working on a couple of photo shoots for the AMAZING Imagine Goods. Amy was the model (and you will completely see why shortly), and I photographed! We hit it off instantly and had constant laughter throughout the whole shoot! Luckily at the shoot, a male model was needed as well, so Amy, of course, brought her boyfriend (at the time) to join in! The whole session I was thinking to myself, man I would LOVE the chance to do a couples session with the two of them! So you know I was overjoyed when they asked me to be their wedding photographer (which means getting them in front of my camera two different times!!!)

But first, let’s take a step back and see where this all began because it didn’t take long for the two of them to know it was something special!! Their first date together could probably be told from two different perspectives because, to Aaron, he was just going to celebrate one of his good friends getting married, while Amy and her friend had other plans for a “secret” double date! Needless to say it worked because the next time the two of them went on an actual date together, they ended up talking, and I’m sure laughing, for five hours!! This start of a friendship, and then a relationship, still continues to grow as they get closer to their wedding date. The way the two of them look at each other seems like it is fresh, young love everyday they are together.

I have to say, I don’t know if I have ever worked with a couple that picked up on my cues as quickly as these two! Amy completely destroys the smize game while also having the most beautiful smile! GORGEOUS! Aaron completely nailed the nuzzle and was a complete pro at the lift! I told him at one point he could put Amy down to take a break, and he goes, “Oh no, I’m good!” DANG!! These two looked like they had done this several times before!

Seriously, these two couldn’t have been any cuter. Every click of the camera made me even more excited for their Purcell Friendship Hall wedding next September!!

Thank you, Mother Nature, for providing us with beautiful sunshine between these neverending weeks of rain. The beautiful sunset never looked so good at the willow trees and open fields of Overlook Park in Lancaster, PA!!! I can’t wait to get you two in front of my camera again, but until then, keep up those sweet smiles, and Aaron, never stop your constant humor! We are going to need all of that laughter and joking come your wedding day!! Big hugs to you both! I hope you love these images as much as I do!!
