Enchanted Summer Wedding at The Barn at Silverstone, Lancaster, PA

Jul 22, 2020

They stood holding hands. Tightly. Anxiously awaiting the moment. The moment when they would see their daughter in her wedding dress.
Today is the day they have looked forward to and yet also didn’t want to come so quickly. The day they would let their little girl go. To let her marry the man of her dreams.

The man that they trust to take care of her!

It is one of the happiest days of their lives, but inside, it also brings a little sadness that she is growing up so fast. As they stood, facing away, Kaleigh gracefully came around the corner of the barn at The Barn at Silverstone. Her dress beautifully fell around her. She truly looked like a princess.

And then, the moment finally came.

Kaleigh called out their names for them to turn around. Instantly, her mom began to tear up. Her daughter was just so beautiful. And her dad? He put his hand on his chest and a shocked expression came across his face. He couldn’t believe how much his little girl had grown up and just how gorgeous she had become!

It almost felt as if time stopped.

Kaleigh and her parents embraced each other. So excited for the day! Kaleigh letting them know she would always be their little girl, and her parents letting her know they would always be there for her. Always loving her. Always supporting her. This was just one small moment in Kaleigh and Mark’s wedding day.

But it truly summed up their day!

So much family and love was woven throughout their wedding day! From big families to family members being a part of the ceremony and reception, love and support filled every moment of the day!
These two families that have now become one and will be the best support system for Kaleigh and Mark! They truly want the best for them and can’t wait to watch them grow in their marriage. They also sure know how to have a good time! (Even in 94 degree weather!) I truly felt by the end of the night that I was a member of this family!

This support is what every marriage deserves!

Kaleigh and Mark, thank you for inviting me in with open arms! I honestly didn’t want this day to end! You two have been the absolute best to work with throughout the entire process. I know your wedding may be over, but I truly think this friendship will last for many years to come! Bring on more game nights together and running into each other at the gym! I know you two will have an incredible future ahead, and I can’t wait to watch every moment of it. Cheering you on! I wish you two all the best and will always keep your wedding day and your friendship close to my heart! Sending big hugs!

XOXO ~ Heather Marie

But different people in their family Face-Timed them the entire day so they could still be apart of the celebration. They even got all dressed up for the day, and danced in their home for the anniversary dance; and won with 62 years under their belt! They were the sweetest couple and I had to get a photo of them with Kaleigh and Mark!
