All the guests faced the altar where Jodi and Matt stood facing each other, hand-in-hand, in the beautiful barn at Bluestone Estate.

Unfortunately, it had called for rain during their ceremony, so they opted for plan B, and it was a good thing they did. The only time it rained that entire day was right as the ceremony began, and it ended a few minutes before Jodi and Matt shared a kiss.

It was perfect timing.

The officiant faced the crowd and let them know that the couple would be sharing their own vows. She then turned to Matt to give him the go ahead to begin first. Quickly, he let go of Jodi’s hands and clasped his together, nervously. Beginning to sway back and forth as he cleared his throat.

The whole room went quiet.

Everyone wondering what was about to happen. And then Matt looked up at Jodi. All of a sudden he began to sing to her. Completely a cappella! He was singing a country song that perfectly shared how he felt about her! Let me mention, he had an incredible voice, but honestly? He could have been way off key, and it still would have been just as beautiful!

There wasn’t a dry eye in the barn at Bluestone Estate.

Jodi stood with the biggest smile on her face the entire way through! This song would forever mean so much to her, and the love she had for him. On that day, and every day after! As he wrapped up the last few words, the entire barn erupted! It was as if a concert had just come to an end. Everyone was cheering and clapping for the incredible job Matt had done. Typically, this would have been awkward in the middle of a ceremony, but at that moment, it was completely right!

I will never forget that special moment.

We all got a glimpse of just how much Matt loves his wife! To stand up in front of everyone. With no music. No other singers. Just him and the girl of his dreams standing in front of him.

It was the true meaning of unconditional love!

The rest of the day was filled with so many more special songs. For the rest of them, Matt and Jodi would sing together. Wrapped up in each other’s arms. Completely lost in each other’s eyes. As if no one else was around! Time stopped for them, just for a few moments. But that was all they needed to know that this was exactly how their wedding day was supposed to go.

Completely in love with each other.

Matt and Jodi, I know this wasn’t how you had imagined your wedding day when you first planned it. It was supposed to be several months ago. But honestly, I don’t think you could have asked for a better day. Other than that small little rain during the ceremony, the weather was absolutely beautiful. The leaves changing in the distance was a perfect backdrop as we took photos around the beautiful property at Bluestone Estate.

And each person who came to support you no matter what was the icing on the cake! You two deserve the absolute best, and I’m so glad that on your wedding day I was able to prove that for you! You and your family are absolutely incredible, and I can’t wait to stay in touch as your new life as a married couple begins!
