2020. The one where we got engaged.
Of everything that has happened this year, this is a pretty good way to remember it! And for Julie and Cale, that is exactly what they will do! As they rang in the New Year with the rest of the world, Cale got down on one knee and asked Julie to marrying him. It was the perfect start for 2020 for these two.
The fun has only begun as they plan the wedding of their dreams happening in October 2021 at the gorgeous Folino Estate!
These two met while working for the same news station. What started out as flirty emails back-and-forth, turned into so much more. Soon, they were going out for food and drinks after work and hitting up the local baseball games. I love that at their session, they highlighted both of these favorites of theirs. Julie had a baseball made with their names and wedding date on it to highlight Cale’s love for baseball! It was the cutest gesture and showed so much about her personality.
So thoughtful and giving!
To end the session, they popped some champagne and enjoyed a few sips in the cutest wine glasses that said “The One Where Julie and Cale got Engaged!” Check out the last couple images below to see the fun for yourself! A perfect nod to the venue for their wedding next year! Folino Estate has a gorgeous winery that stretches out the back!
Each part of their session truly showed how each of them are. Cale is funny yet supportive. Always making sure Julie is okay and holding her hand whenever he can. Oh and a dull moment? That never happens! Cale is always making Julie smile. Just as much as he is making her smile, she is always making sure he knows that she is thinking about him. From the personal baseball to the way she just looks over at him and gives him a smile, she just wants him to know how happy and content she is with him by her side.
These two are just the perfect complement to the other.
Julie and Cale, if your engagement session was just a peek at how your wedding day will be, we are going to have the absolute BEST time celebrating your marriage. And the images are going to unbelievable! You two light up in front of the camera, and your love just shines through! I can’t wait to capture you two all around Folino Estate’s gorgeous grounds, especially in the vineyard!
