Elegant and Timeless Wedding at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens

Oct 23, 2020

Family is such a major component for me.

All my life, I have grown up with most of my family living about 15-20 minutes from me. It was constant weekend dinners together. Everyone always over to celebrate birthdays and holidays. And one of the biggest cheering sections at all of my soccer and volleyball games.

They have made me who I am, and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

I have loved growing up so close to them and sharing in so many memories together. So it means so much to me when my HMP couples are super close to their families as well.

It is one of the qualities I love most about them!

Before wedding days, I send over a questionnaire for my couples to fill out, so I can be fully prepared before I even show up on their day. In there, it asks about the bridesmaids/groomsmen names and their relationships to the bride and groom, the officiant’s name, shot lists, and so much more. I get so excited when I see all the family members that are asked to be involved on the wedding day. I have had brothers as officiants, moms and dads as maid of honor/best man, and often siblings in the bridal party! It makes my heart happy as I see it!

Family is such a treasure!

I loved receiving Naomi and Shawn’s timeline to find out that every single person in the bridal party was family for their wedding at the gorgeous Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens. From daughters to parents, and even nieces and nephews, it truly was completely centered around family! The bonds between everyone throughout the entire day was so heartwarming. No matter what, everyone was willing to help out and show their love for Naomi and Shawn. And man, were the tears flowing! Every single person was just so incredibly happy that these two found each other.

The connections between each person was like no other.

You can’t force that sort of love! It just happens, and when it does, it shines through in every element of the day. And the best part? Every single person welcomed me into the family as if I was a member! The all had hearts of gold, and I can’t thank them all enough!
Naomi and Shawn, you have raised incredible girls! You are surrounded by incredible family members. I have no doubt that this new family that has “officially” been created is going to have endless incredible memories together! Thank you for making me feel a part of the family on your wedding day! You all are truly amazing! Give the pups hugs for me. Such cuties! Can’t wait to see what other outfits they wear! I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks and have an incredible honeymoon! The rest will be here before you know it!

XOXO ~ Heather Marie
