A winter wedding in December in Pennsylvania typically looks like 35 degrees, everyone layered with winter coats, scarfs, and hats, and chances of snow. As I am typing this, we are actually in the middle of a snowstorm. With a chance to get up to a foot of snow.
Today is Wednesday.
But just four days ago, we had an almost 60 degree day in Pennsylvania. My winter coat was off and left behind in the car, and we even had a little bit of sweat during the faster pace part of the days. It was partly sunny, the wind was minimal, and the weather was perfect.
That was how the day played out for Ashley and Adam’s wedding!
When you pick your wedding day, you have no idea how the weather is going to be. In December, you plan for mainly everything inside, noses a little red from the cold temperatures, and even hope for a snow squall during your husband and wife portraits. But this vision was completely opposite for this HMP Couple. And honestly?
None of us were complaining about it!
We didn’t have to rush to get photos done before people froze. It was truly a perfect December day for a wedding. We even had a beautiful sunset as the best man and maid of honor were giving their toasts to the bride and groom! Trust me, when you see these images, you are going to agree!
It was a picture perfect day!
Ashley and Adam totally deserved this beautiful day! From all the back-and-forth to have the wedding or not to having to cut the guest list down even farther the day before their wedding due to new state mandates, these two have been through a lot during this planning process. But on their wedding day? You would have never known! So much joy, happiness, and laughs were shared throughout the day! Those that were able to attend were the perfect group of people to surround these two on this special day!
So much love surrounded them at every moment!
And let me tell you. These people know how to have a party. It didn’t matter if there were three people or 40 people on the dance floor, it was nonstop moving and singing throughout the whole night! Ashley and Adam and the bridesmaids really know how to tear up the dance floor!
Klock Entertainment had the perfect music the whole night long! And the best part?
There was ice cream for dessert!
You know I had to jump on that when I had a quick second in between camera clocks! Love when my brides know me so well and tell me ahead of time to prepare myself for the best dessert! Can this be a thing at every wedding? Maybe the new alternative to the cake?
Overall, the wedding could not have gone any better! Ashley and Adam, we have been together for so long, and I can’t believe your wedding say has come and gone! It truly was the most magical day! I am beyond happy for you two and can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings for you two! No matter what, I’ll be cheering you on. I can’t wait ’til our paths cross again. Until then, congrats!! Enjoy this highlight of my favorite parts of your incredible day!
