Middle Creek Wildlife Engagement Session

From tall grass fields to open bodies of water surrounded by trees, Megan and Anthony’s choice of location for their Middle Creek Wildlife Engagement Session was the perfect fit. These two love to be outdoors and love to explore new places.

Outside IS their “natural habitat.”

Leading up to the engagement session, Megan had a really hard time narrowing down the location options. She just loved any place that had to do with nature, and Pennsylvania surely doesn’t disappoint in that regard. Plus, the fall colors were on full force. Which made any direction you looked to be a winning spot.

The choices are endless!

After much deliberation, they settled on Middle Creek. You could probably guess, but I was ALL about it. Yes please to any place with a lake as beautiful as the one you are about to see below. Everywhere you looked pops of fall colors stood out.

Besides the perfect location spot, Megan and Anthony were the absolute sweetest. Like most of my couples, they started out quite nervous about what to do and where to put their hands. It definitely can be intimidating. Joel and I still feel awkward for the first ten minutes of any shoot we are a part of. I assured them that I would walk them through every step of the session, but by the end, they didn’t need my direction at all. They were laughing right when I needed them to. Holding their kiss for the perfect length of time. Plus, just showing off who they are as a couple right from the beginning!

They may have said they were nervous, but it didn’t seem like it in the photos.

I guess it’s true that all you need is that perfect someone to make you feel comfortable. At least for Megan and Anthony, that’s all they needed. By the end, we were at expert level. They were dipping and twirling straight out of a fairytale. Plus, a confetti pop at the end sealed the deal for the most amazing session. From this session, I learned two things. One, I am truly obsessed with Middle Creek. Two, Megan and Anthony are the absolutely cutest and naturals in front of the camera.

I hope you two absolutely love these favorites of mine. It was seriously impossible to choose! I had to go through twice because I just couldn’t get it narrowed down. It’s so hard to not share them all! I promise I will soon enough, but enjoy the highlights below.
