Most times, the hardest tasks or longest treks bring the best rewards! For sessions at the White Cliffs of Conoy, this couldn’t be more true.
The photos below will prove it!
It is about a 1.5 mile walk to the location. Nothing crazy terrain-wise, but it definitely can cause a sweat if you don’t take it slowly. This causes so many people to turn away a select another location. So when Lexi showed interest for this spot, I crossed my fingers tight when I mentioned about the distance. She responded back with no issues at all.
Her summer senior session at White Cliffs of Conoy was set!
This location never disappoints. The white limestone that covers the entire area makes every color pop off the background. It highlights the subjects perfectly. Plus, the added bonus of it being right along the water gives variety in the gallery. And when you have a senior who is open to trying anything and a dancer, the options for shots are endless. We stayed almost 30 minutes past the session time because I just couldn’t get enough!
Everything complemented each other in the best way possible!
Another reason I love this location is because the 20 minute walk is the perfect time to get to know my clients. There is nothing else to do but walk and talk. We started with the basics: school, hobbies, work, etc. She only has to go to school each day for 1.5 hours!! My mind was blown when she said that. She has all her other classes done, and her school doesn’t require them to stay all day, so she is only there for one period.
Jealous!
Even more jealous because she uses that extra time in the day to work and make money! What a perfect way to use your time while your friends are in school, so you don’t have to work every evening. Very smart planning! Lexi is also a dancer so that takes up some of her time during the week, too. I can’t even begin to list all the types of dance she can do!
It is incredible the variety she has under her belt!
My favorite conversation on our walk was one I never thought I would talk about with a client. Porta potties! I had mentioned that we would know when we arrived to the location once we saw a porta potty on the side of the path. That one statement steered us in the direction of the best porta potties we have been in. The funniest conversation and yet so interesting. You just never know what you might talk about.
Which is what I love about my time with my clients!
Lexi’s summer senior session at White Cliffs of Conoy was so beautiful. So much so, that it took me forever to select my favorites because I just wanted to share them all on here! That would make for quite the long blog post! After a long time of deciding, I’m so excited for you to scroll through this gorgeous Senior Session at one of my favorite photo spots!
