Dreamy Pond View Farm Wedding

Music was pumping. Laughs were contagious. Final touches were being made. As I walked into the girls’ suite at this dreamy Pond View Farm wedding, there was nothing but fun happening. Kathryn was getting so excited to see Cody and finally marry him.

It has been a long time coming!

The two of them had met back when they were 15 and 16 in an online chat. They started talking more and more frequently and became really close friends. With secret crushes on each other. After five years of talking, they finally met in person in the BWI airport when Cody picked Kathryn up. Oh, did I mention they lived on opposite sides of the country?!

Talk about long distance relationship.

That meet-up sealed the deal that they knew they would be together forever. So much so that Cody wrote it in a homework assignment. He was supposed to write a letter to his future self. In it, he told himself to go find Kathryn if he wasn’t already with her when he would read the note again. He brought that note to their wedding ceremony and read it out loud. For the section he had about her, he could happily say he checked all the things off.

He was finally marrying the girl of his dreams!

It was the most special moment and truly showed how strong their relationship has been. Plus, it confirms that distance makes the heart grow fonder! Even in the best man and maid of honor speeches, everyone knew that these two were going to be married one day. Love at first message for you two!

It was inevitable!

Side note, if you find family formals stressful, I have to quick tips for you. First, have a bee chase after you during the entire time. It definitely cuts the tension in the air and keeps the families laughing the entire time. You’ll be more worried about not being stung than about the stress of family formals.

Just kidding, it is not a fun experience.
