Penn State College Grad Session

May 5, 2026

There are sessions that feel extra special, and this Penn State college grad session for Liv was one I will never forget. Watching someone you have known for years step into this next chapter is such an incredible full circle moment.

If you are a senior thinking ahead to graduation photos, this is your reminder that these sessions are worth celebrating in a meaningful way.

From Spokesmodel to Graduate

Liv was one of my 2022 HMP Senior Spokesmodels, and getting to photograph her again at this stage of life felt so special. I also had the chance to coach her in club volleyball at Spooky Nook, which makes this even more meaningful to me.

She has always felt like a mini version of me, and seeing everything she has accomplished fills me with so much pride. Watching her grow from high school into this next season of life is exactly why I love what I do.

A Classic Start at Old Main

We started her Penn State college grad session at Old Main, and it was everything you would want for a graduation session. Liv wore her cap and gown over a white dress, creating a timeless and iconic look.

There is something about Old Main that immediately brings that Penn State feeling to life. It is classic, recognizable, and the perfect way to begin celebrating such a big milestone.

A Full Circle Moment at the Nittany Lion Shrine

Next, we made our way to the Nittany Lion Shrine, and this part of the session was extra meaningful. Liv recreated a few photos she had taken in that exact spot as a little girl.

Standing in the same place years later as a college graduate was such a powerful moment. These are the kinds of images that go beyond just looking beautiful. They tell a story and hold memories that only grow more valuable over time.

We. Are. Penn State

You can feel it everywhere on campus. The pride, the energy, and the tradition.

We. Are… Penn State.

It is more than just a phrase. It is something you carry with you long after graduation. Sessions like this capture that feeling in a way that lasts far beyond this season.

Ending at Beaver Stadium

We wrapped up the session at the Pennsylvania State University sign in front of Beaver Stadium, and it was the perfect way to celebrate. Liv changed into a white alumni t-shirt and jeans, giving the end of her gallery a more relaxed and celebratory feel.

To top it all off, she popped a bottle of champagne, and it was such a fun way to mark the moment. These are the memories that make your session feel like an experience, not just a photoshoot.

Celebrating What Comes Next

Liv will be continuing her journey at Towson University to study Speech Language Pathology, and I have no doubt she is going to do amazing things. This next chapter is such an exciting one, and it deserves to be celebrated just as much as the years that led up to it.

Your Graduation Session Matters

If you are a future senior or college graduate, take this as your sign to document this season. A grad session gives you the chance to celebrate your story, your hard work, and everything that is ahead.

Choose locations that mean something to you. Bring outfits that show your personality. Find ways to include moments that feel personal, just like Liv did.

I would love to help you create a graduation session that feels just as meaningful and fun. Reach out to start planning your session before dates fill up.
