Sarah and Chase’s Hibernia Park engagement session was nothing short of amazing. The HMP Team had the pleasure of capturing their love in the warmth of a summer evening. The lush greenery and serene landscapes of the park perfectly complemented their adventurous spirits and love of nature.
This session was filled with the radiance of their love, the beauty of the park.
Sarah and Chase’s story began back in 2016 at a Christian summer camp, where they met as junior counselors. They were leaders of adjacent groups which meant they spent a lot of time together during and after camp. Those summer days turned into Snapchat conversations, and before they knew it, they had built a relationship that was meant to last. It’s clear that their bond has only grown stronger over the years, and it was such a joy to see that shine through during their Hibernia Park engagement session.
This love story just melts my heart!
The session kicked off in the rolling fields of wild grasses. Providing a stunning backdrop and highlighting their love for the great outdoors. Sarah and Chase’s ideal date night often includes outdoor activities like hiking, exploring new places, and soaking in the beauty of nature—so it was no surprise that they felt right at home in this natural setting.
Their movie worthy love story doesn’t end at the camp fling.
Wait till you hear the proposal. Last September, during what was supposed to be a simple dinner with their parents at Chase’s parents’ new house, Chase had something much bigger in mind. He took Sarah on a walk around the property, showing her the cornfields, forests, and barns. When they reached the top of a hill, Sarah was greeted by a beautifully decorated area filled with fall decor—mums, corn stalks, and pumpkins. It was there that Chase got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. It was perfect because then they could celebrate with their families that evening.
Sarah, of course, couldn’t hold back the tears, and Chase, though a bit more composed, definitely got teary-eyed, too!
During the session, it was clear just how much these two mean to each other. Sarah spoke so lovingly about Chase, highlighting how he encourages her to pursue her relationship with God, listens intently to her (even when she’s chatting away about something unrelated), and offers her comfort and protection in all aspects of life. Chase, loves how Sarah helps point him closer to God, supports him unconditionally, and shares his hobbies and interests, allowing them to spend quality time together doing things they both love.
As a couple, Sarah and Chase are the perfect blend of adventurous and family-oriented. They know how to have fun, whether they’re out exploring new places or just spending a quiet evening at home.
Their Hibernia Park engagement session captured all these elements, making it a true reflection of who they are together.
