I don’t think I could explain it any better than the owner did…“A timeless setting for endless merry-making!” Elizabeth Furnace is a registered national historic landmark. As you start your trek down the stairs from the parking lot, you are instantly transported back in time. The stonework cascading the whole way down the drive and the stunning gardens woven throughout the venue, this property is a beautiful sight to see for any guest.

You are able to pick from several stunning locations for each part of your day. The ceremony can be tucked up at the top of the tiered gardens in the Garden Folly. This space creates a serene escape from the rest of the complex, where guests can watch as vows are exchanged. Guests are then able to head down the tiered garden for a magical cocktail hour, surrounded by several levels of gorgeous flowers and colonial-style architecture!

Finally, they will be welcomed across the path to the stunningly renovated Stiegel Stable for the reception. Back in the 1760s, this space used to be where the horses were kept, but since then, it has been fully renovated! It is a place for you and your guests to dine and dance the night away!

Even the back-up rain plan is a stunning option for a ceremony. Tucked at the bottom of the driveway, the original charcoal barn for the property has been retouched to give the couple an option for not only the ceremony but also for a rehearsal dinner location.

This venue can hold up to 160 of your closest friends and family and gives each of them an experience they will never forget! I had the honor of being a part of the Open House for the Elizabeth Furnace wedding venue, and I am just in awe by this secret gem tucked back in Lititz, PA. It is hidden from the road and creates its’ own oasis as you drive back the road to the parking lot.

As couples walked the venue during the Open House, nothing but incredible things came out of their mouths. Planned Perfection and JDK Group put together an incredible day.
