As we started walking to our first location at the vast Overlook Park, Kenny and Alison hand-in-hand, talking about their wedding day and the incredible outfit choices Alison put together, the warmth of the sun began to break through the clouds. Kenny was unsure the whole weekend of the weather because Sunday looked like it was going to be a gloomy and rainy day!

All he wanted was for Alison to get the dream engagement session she deserved.

He tried to talk her into rescheduling, but for some reason, Alison had a feeling that this was going to be a great day! I am so glad she did because we had one of the most breathtaking sunsets we had seen all winter long!

This was not the only time Kenny put his fiancé first. Due to the earlier rain, the ground was pretty wet and muddy, and most people would just try to worry about themselves not falling. But Kenny? He was always by Alison’s side holding her hand or helping her balance as her heels sunk into the ground. He could have cared less, at that point, about his shoes or outfit. His focus was fully on his beautiful fiancé and making sure she had the pictures she dreamed of. Even on a slip, he was quickly there to help her up and brush her off. He was so proud of the woman he had by his side, and the one he could look in the eyes and know it would be forever.

This was unconditional love!

I have known Kenny for several years through high school and after. We are part of a group of friends that get together every couple months for dinner and to just catch up! During those times, Kenny is often the funny one keeping each moment lighthearted. But with Alison? Sure, he still cracks jokes every so often, but he is her rock. Her support system. Her biggest fan. Each time he looks at her, he does it to comfort her and always remind her that he loves her! Alison is one lucky lady!

Alison, for those of you that have not had the chance to meet her yet, is an absolute stunner, but also has one of the biggest hearts I know. No matter what was happening at the session, she couldn’t stop thanking me for doing this for them! This was such a special thing for her and Kenny, and I was so honored to capture these photos for the two of them!!

These two are the perfect combination!!

Kenny and Alison, what to even say!! You two made this session so much more than just a session! It was a chance to catch up and see what true love looks like! Each moment was so much fun and filled with tons of laughter! I cannot wait to watch you two continue to grow in love as you marry each other! I am so incredibly thankful to call you two friends!
