College was no joke for these two!
Going through architecture and interior design school means nights in the studio until 2am, constantly work from sun up to sun down, presentations every week, and nonstop pressure each semester. One of the biggest positives, though, is that you basically become family with everyone that is in the studio because you eat, sleep, and breathe every day together. It is where close friendships are made, and sometimes, even romance is formed.
This was the case for Nicole and Vince!
Many of you may not know that I also went to school for architecture. I met Vince in these exact studios at Philadelphia University and even had a Gen-Ed class with Nicole. I know the stress these two went through and am just beyond happy to know that it was all worth it. Not only that they both have careers in these fields but also that they found love through those years. Now through 7 architecture exams and 3 interior design exams, these two are finally husband and wife!!!
Their wedding day was one for the books. From gorgeous weather to beautiful details, a stunning venue, and a perfect timeline, their wedding day is one I will never forget. In each aspect of their day, these two were able to weave in beautiful elements of sustainability. Their florals were purchased from a local flower farm as a collection. This meant that Nicole had no idea what the colors or flowers would be and how it would all go together until a few days prior to their wedding. Talk about trust and just happiness in however it turns out!!
Let me just tell you, they turned out INCREDIBLE!!
My jaw almost hit the floor when she told me about it, and I saw each bouquet. Their food was from a local food truck company Farm Truck Philly, that specializes in farm-to-table meals and supports local businesses for all of their food. Each option was so delicious!! Even their centerpieces were created out of recycled bottles that family and friends collected for them. And the tableware? That too was all biodegradable!!
Each piece of this day was absolutely breathtaking, but even more importantly, it was giving back to the surrounding areas!!
Nicole and Vince, from the begin of the day to the end, you two truly cared about every person that came to make your day what it was! There was never a moment that you two didn’t have a smile on your face!! I know this love will stand the test of time because you have such a strong support system around you that will always love and be there for you two!! Trust them. Lean on them. Learn from them. And thank them. You two are the absolute best, and I cannot wait to see where all you go and what all you conquer together. Thank you for allowing me to share in this special day. It truly touched my heart!
XOXO ~ Heather Marie
We even had a huge Philadelphia University (where my second shooter and I went as well) reunion with over 25 people. It was amazing to see everyone again and catch up for a bit!!
The bride did a special dance for her Grandma (who had recently passed) at the reception.
