Alyson and Andrew’s wedding at the Peter Allen House was a constant back-and-forth between deep belly laughs and tear-filled eyes. Myself included!! There was everything from a Disney-inspired bridesmaid speech (featured above) to a procession that had the ENTIRE bridal party, groom, mother of the groom…and me…in tears before the bride even started her walk down the aisle! Let me tell you, it is hard to see through the lens when your eyes are so blurry from tears.

So much emotion filled Andrew and Alyson.

Not only for each other but for every person that was there supporting them. Encouraging them. And celebrating them. This was truly a day of celebration for these two as they became one!

With each couple, I send a questionnaire to them, asking questions about their wedding day and all that are involved, so I can be fully prepared when I arrive. One of the questions reads, “How do you envision your wedding?” Alyson’s answer back was the best I think I ever received, and the wedding did not disappoint!!

She said, “Imagine Ohio State vs. Penn State at a home whiteout game, prime time!”

They had one of the best dance parties I have seen yet! At any point during the night, the dance floor was packed!! To the point where I had to walk out around the tables to get to the other side. People only left to grab another drink or head out for ice cream from the food truck. (Yes, I died with happiness!) And then they were back out busting a move in no time! They even had a sparkly lion statue with a Penn State blanket wrapped about it.

My cheeks were hurting so much from the smile that never left my face all day long!

Alyson and Andrew, you truly have surrounded yourselves with the best people as you embark on this new journey together. Between incredible marriages that you can look up to and learn from to people that know how to get each of you laughing…You guys have an amazing support system!

To say you two are an incredible example of an HMP Couple would be an understatement!

So many times during the day Alyson kept saying how much we are similar! And the two of you? Ice cream-loving, family-oriented, nonstop-laughing people. You truly are the best! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this big party! I am soooo sad it is over! But I can’t wait to relive the whole day through the photos!! Here’s is a sneak peek of the day – Enjoy!
