Intimate Spring Wedding at Lower Allen Community Park in Mechanicsburg, PA

May 29, 2020

It may not have gone the way they planned.

But let me tell you, May 23, 2020 will still go down as a very special day for Lauren and Sean. For months, they had planned the perfect wedding day. Walked the venue and started to envision how it would all play out. Figured out all the details. Sent out all the invites. And slowly became more and more excited for the day to finally arrive. They definitely didn’t expect that they would have to postpone their wedding. Sure, you prepare for a rainy day. Maybe things get a little behind schedule. But having to move the wedding day? That was definitely not a thought that went through their minds!

And let me tell you. It definitely didn’t go through mine either.

Even though their wedding date might be different, the wedding they dreamed of is still going to happen! The best part, though? They still said I Do and became husband and wife on their original date. They still shared the moment with their closest family in-person and with so many friends virtually! It was still the perfect day.

In the end, it was exactly as they had dreamed.

Both of their immediate families stood with them around a small gazebo at Lower Allen Community Park. With soft music playing off to the side, Lauren, holding tightly to her stepdad’s arm, walked down the aisle towards the man of her dreams. It was peaceful. Only the chirping of birds filled the air around them. Within the gazebo, laughs, tears, and promises were made! Smiles stretched across each person’s face, as the two shared a kiss to seal the deal. As they were introduced as husband and wife to the people that mean the most to them, bubbles filled the air. It was the perfect celebration.

It was the way it was meant to be.

Lauren and Sean, I truly can’t express how honored I was to be a part of your wedding day! With numbers so limited for gatherings, it meant the world that you wanted me there to join in the celebration and capture every moment for you! I am so happy for the two of you!

You two have been an absolute joy to work with, and I am soooo excited that the celebrating doesn’t end here. I can’t wait to see you again in a couple of months to celebrate this special day with EVERYONE that means the most to you! And trust me, I will have my dancing shoes ready! Until then, I hope you enjoy married life. I hope these images remind you of that special day. Although it may not have been the way you had planned it, it was so special and meaningful to be a part of! Thank you!
