Beautiful Shrine of Saint Anthony Intimate Wedding in Maryland

Jul 15, 2020

As the ceremony came to an end, Mary-Pat and Josh started to become anxious for the moment that they finally sealed it with a kiss. Laughs had been shared. Vows had been said. And bread had been broke. Each moment a promise that they would be there for each other through it all.

Until the very end.

And then, as the priest finished with the communion, he gave them both a smile and said, “Now, are you two ready to have some fun?” Instantly, smiles and excitement broke across each of their faces. The time had finally come! But before he said the anticipated phrase. He paused for a moment.

He looked around to everyone that was there. Everyone that had made the trip to come and celebrate Mary-Pat and Josh at the beautiful Shrine of Saint Anthony. Everyone that had played a significant roll in their lives. Then he turned to Mary-Pat and Josh and told them to do the same. To see all the love that was surrounding them. He asked everyone their to put a hand out to them as he said a final prayer. To protect them and to let them know they are loved and supported through it all.

Everything around us went silent (except for the frog that decided to make his presence known throughout the entire ceremony). Hands slowly reached out. Heads bowed down. It was such a peaceful moment. Filled with so much meaning, even though a word was not spoken. These two have so much to look forward to and so many people ready to cheer them on. As the priest finished the prayer, the smiles returned to their faces.

It was finally time!

He announced, with the biggest smile on his face that Mary-Pat and Josh were finally married and that Josh could kiss his new WIFE! Cheers and clapping sounded throughout the garden. Even tears of happiness were shed. The atmosphere quickly transformed into a celebration as the two of them walked back down the aisle. The moment had finally come. They were finally married!

Mary-Pat and Josh, I can’t express the happiness and joy I have for the two of you. From the laughs we shared at the engagement session to the special moments captured at your wedding, you truly have become close friends! The entire drive home, my husband, Joel, and I couldn’t stop chatting about our time with you that day. And that was only for two hours. I can’t wait for next year when we get to celebrate all again for quadruple the amount of time!

You two have a special place in my heart.

You are such caring, kind, and joyful people. The exact description of an #HMPcouple. And hearing the toasts from everyone as you popped the champagne sealed the deal as to how incredible you are to everyone you meet. You two are perfect for each other! I will be forever grateful that I am the one to capture all of these special moments in your lives. And to think that I get to do it a second time is truly a cherry on top! I can’t wait to see you two and your family next year! Cheers to you both!
