Three words that instantly come to my mind as I think about Lauren and Sean and their beautiful wedding day this past Saturday at Fallen Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast. It was a hot and busy day, but through it all, these two seemed so calm and so excited to say I Do again…(I’ll get to that in a moment). Anytime I would go up and see if they needed anything or just check to see how they were doing, both answered that they were good! Every time! No panic. No issues. Just excited for the day to finally be here.

With the ones they loved. The ones that have supported them through the years. And the ones that celebrated with them on this day. It’s true what they say about how your wedding day flying by, and it felt like Lauren was just trying to slow everything down. Not rush anything and really take in every moment. It’s what I want for each of my couples on their wedding day.

Lauren and Sean were unfortunately one of my couples affected by COVID. Their wedding was supposed to be back in May, but sadly, it had to be postponed due to the restrictions in Pennsylvania. Although we were able to do a small ceremony for the two of them on their actual date, so they could officially be husband and wife, this full wedding was the true celebration! And I mean, endless dancing throughout the entire night! It was a perfect way to celebrate the promises they made three months ago with a party surrounded by all of their closest friends and family!

Lauren and Sean, I can’t believe we have made it to your wedding day! I have to be honest and say I am a little sad because it means we won’t be working together anymore. It has been so many months of planning and excitement as we waited for the day to finally arrive.  I couldn’t have imagined anything better for the two of you! So much fun! So much celebration. And so much happiness for the marriage you two have and will have for many years to come. I truly feel like we have become close friends, and I can’t wait to keep in touch and see where this journey takes you two! Plus, the new pup in your life (Happy National Dog Day)!
