Rainy Brick Gables Wedding

Morgan and I’s wedding photography journey started a little different than most of my couples, but I love it! With any couple that inquires, I always hop on a video call with them to chat about their wedding day ideas and just get to know them better! I absolutely love my friendships with my couples, so it is so important to me to start to get to know them right away!

I want to be more than just the photographer on their wedding day!

So Morgan and I set up up the Zoom call for a weeknight, and I was excepting it to be like any other. The couple would be sitting at a table or on their couch and me at my desk. Well, it didn’t quite turn out that way. On my end, it was as usual, but when Morgan joined, she was definitely not sitting. Morgan was actually on a treadmill walking for our entire call!

She walked over three miles!

Let me tell you, I have never felt more lazy in that moment. She was kicking butt planning the wedding of her dreams while also crushing it in her exercises! I wonder if I can start doing that on my calls from now on? I quickly learned that, that was Morgan! Always being efficient. Staying organized. Confident! And a major go-getter!

She didn’t let anything hold her back from being who she was!

I loved it! We had an incredible first chat, and I was so excited when she emailed me letting me know that her and Sam wanted to book me as their wedding photographer for their Brick Gables wedding! We still always joke about that initial call, but I’m so thankful for it! She let me get to know her right away, and the friendship was instant!

Then when I got to meet Sam, the excitement just continued!

Sam is an absolute sweetheart with probably one of the best smiles! And he is not afraid to show it! The entire wedding day, even with the rain, I think I could count on one hand how many times I saw him without a smile on. During those times, he had tears in his eyes from seeing his beautiful bride come down the aisle and sharing private vows with her!

He wears his heart on his sleeve!

The love between these two is so strong! At the end of the night, Morgan and Sam shared a private last dance before their sparkler send off. Morgan was instantly in tears. Reliving every moment. So shocked by how fast the day flew by. Overly excited that she could now call that man she was dancing with her husband!

I’m sure that may take a while to sink in!

It was such a special moment. One they will cherish forever. Morgan and Sam, thank you for being you! You two are so strong in who you are individually and as a couple! I can’t wait to see where your marriage takes you! The world better watch out now that you are united as one! I know the day went by so fast, but I can’t wait for you to relive it forever through your photos!
