Melhorn Manor Spring Wedding

As the mother and son dance came to an end at last weekend’s Melhorn Manor spring wedding, Dylan gave his mother a huge hug and walked her back to her seat. Hannah slowly rose from her chair and made her way to the dance floor. Only her mother was at the wedding, so people were curious as to what was about to happen.

Honestly, I don’t think anyone was prepared for this!

Hannah is one of ten kids in her family. Six boys and four girls! They have one of the strongest bonds I have seen in a family so large. Each one truly loves each other and loves their mom! As the music started to play, Hannah’s oldest brother made his way to the center of the dance floor where she was waiting. He took her hand and pulled her in and shared a dance.

Tears began to fill so many eyes in the room!

After about thirty seconds, her next brother slowly began to walk towards them as the oldest passed Hannah off to the next. This continued for all six of the brothers. Each one taking their turn to dance with their sister, so she could have this special dance.

One I don’t think anyone will forget!

I know I won’t! As the music began to wind down, her youngest brother hugged her. Holding her tightly a little extra longer. Letting her know she was surrounded by unconditional love and support. There wasn’t a dry in the barn! What a special moment they could give her!

That was the emphasis the entire day!

In every moment of the day, Dylan and Hannah’s families were there to help in any way they could. Finding family members for photos. Making sure the bride and groom were taken care of, cleaning things up as needed, holding the dress as Hannah walked around the venue.

The list is endless!

It was truly something special to watch. And to be a part of! I’m so honored to have been the one to document it all! I will probably never forget that special dance Hannah shared with her brothers. It said so much! It’s the hope you want for every family! Endless love. Willing to do anything for the others. Happiness to be together.
