Lititz Summer Engagement Session

May 31, 2022

I met up with Kara and Gerry a week and a half ago in Lititz for their Lititz summer engagement session. Little did we know when we picked the date that the first location, Lititz Springs Park, was going to flipped into a farmer’s market for the evening!

The place was packed!

We almost couldn’t even find parking! Definitely not the typical feel for the park. Sure there are people that walk and eat dinner there, but it isn’t nearly as bustling as it was that evening. Plus, they had their pup along for the first part of the session, too. So much excitement around.

Luckily, he did INCREDIBLE!

Willing to follow every command and look right towards the camera. It isn’t always like that, but when it is, we can get some super fun and unique shots with the couple and their dog. I seriously love when pups come along. So if you aren’t sure if you can bring yours, the answer is ABSOLUTELY YES!! I was definitely pushed on creativity to find people walking throughout our shots, but Kara and Gerry made it so easy.

They were up for anything. No questions asked!

Plus, they did it all with the biggest smiles and all the best laughs! I honestly think I could have let them just talk to each other the entire session and gotten absolutely adorable shots. They are just the cutest! After the park, we headed up to the main intersection in Lititz for a little different feel for the backdrop. It was a beautiful stone building with a large white entry door! One of my favorite photo locations in this town!

It also was Kara’s favorite, too!

She was hoping very much so that we would stop at that spot! She is my kind of girl! It is just absolutely elegant with their gorgeous outfits and color combinations. I think I could probably do an entire session just there. But I have to give some variety, of course! Then we finished up on the east end of town in front of a beautiful all white church, with a long sidewalk that leads up to the front door. Picture-perfect session and perfect weather, as well!

We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

And I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to spend my evening with! Kara and Gerry are two people you want in your life! They are filled with so much energy, happiness, and laughter! Never a dull moment with these two, in the best way possible…may I add! I am so excited for their Elizabeth Furnace wedding in April 2023! Here are a few sneak peeks from their Lititz summer engagement session. Tell me, don’t they just make you smile instantly?
