Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens Summer Wedding

She took the first step in. Then the next. The fabric slowly slid up around her legs. Commotion was happening all throughout the room during this Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens summer wedding. Laughter. Talking. People moving.

But to Triana, the room was silent.

At that moment, she was stepping into her wedding dress on her wedding day. A moment she had been waiting five years for. That was the only thing that mattered at that moment. Her mom helped to zip up the back. Then one of her best friends helped put her necklace on. Each piece making the moment feel more and more real.

But the moment that made it all feel right was one that none of us planned.

As the buttons on her dress were being done, Triana looked out the window to take it all in. Just as she did, a shriek came out of her mouth. Quickly followed by tears. A red cardinal had landed on the fence post outside the window. A symbol that was so special to her! Something that none of us could have predicted or planned. It was just what Triana needed to see in that moment.

This was where she was supposed to be.

She was surrounded by love from everyone close to her, near and far! Triana and Manny got engaged five years ago. They wanted to make sure they had everything exactly how they wanted on their wedding. No need to rush because they knew they had found the one! From personal scrunchies made out of her wedding dress for each of her girls to “their puppies” pretending to each take a bite from their wedding cake, Triana and Manny made sure every detail was unique to their love story.

It was truly a celebration of their love!

What an honor it is to have a job that allows me to document the most important days of a couple’s life together. Getting to know Triana and Manny has been so special! They are the sweetest, and I have loved every moment with them! I can’t wait till the next time I get to see them. These two have truly become friends!
