Bohemia Overlook Summer Wedding

It was a humid and hot July Saturday for this Bohemia Overlook summer wedding. The guests were all seated with their program fans waving to keep themselves cool. A low mumble of voices fell across the ceremony area as family member said hello and friends caught up on life.

The overall pulse of the group was bursting with excitement.

The music shifted gears, and one-by-one, the bridal party made their way down the aisle. The parents of the bride and groom first, then the groomsmen. As Ryan made his way, he was all smiles.

I had a chance to chat with him a few times earlier in the day, and he couldn’t wait for this moment.

It had been a long time coming, in the best way possible!

Mallory and Ryan have actually known each other since they were three and four years old. They have always lived just down the street from one another and grew up hanging out all the time. It wasn’t until several years later that the love connection kindled, but the friendship has always been so strong. For these two, the phrase “marry your best friend” couldn’t be any more correct!

Who knows, maybe it was love at first sight, but they just didn’t realize it!

Okay, back to the ceremony! Now where were we. Oh yes, Ryan walking down the aisle. Wearing the biggest smile on his face. Once he got to the altar, he stayed facing away. He wanted to make sure he didn’t accidentally see her before she was walking down the aisle. Each bridesmaid approached and took their spot to the side. As the maid of honor was about halfway down, Mallory and her dad stepped into the beautiful doorway that signified the other end of the aisle. You could see her excitement and nerves as she looked at him.

She, too, had been waiting for this moment for so long!

The music shifted one more time, and the two of them started their walk to the altar. As they did, Ryan slowly turned to them. Instant tears fell over his face. The happiest of tears, for sure. As Mallory made it to the front, Ryan wiped away a few more tears, and then the smile returned back to his face! His bride was so beautiful, and he couldn’t hold back how excited he was to finally call her his wife! Their ceremony was so beautiful and hit on all of the unique parts of their relationship.

From beginning to end, this Bohemia Overlook summer wedding was absolutely beautiful!

And the party to end the night was one I will never forget! Their guests definitely knew how to get down! What a fun way to wrap up such a special celebration! I couldn’t be more happy for these two and the future that is ahead of them! With the love they showed on their wedding day, I know they are going to have so many more years of happiness together!
