Inn at Grace Winery Summer Wedding

Danielle and Frank’s Inn at Grace Winery summer wedding will definitely be one to remember for several reasons!

First off, if you have been reading along for some time, you know that I LOVE thunderstorms. I love hearing the cracks and seeing the streaks of lighting shoot across the sky. Well, their ceremony turned out to be my dream situation.

Leading up to the ceremony, the sky was clear, and it was a beautiful day! As we got a little over a half hour out from ceremony time, a huge storm popped up in the radar. It looked like it was only going to be about ten minutes long, but it was going to hit right when the start time would be.

The anxiety set in for all the vendors.

Danielle and Frank, however, were as cool as cucumbers. They love being outdoors, so a little rain never hurt them. With that said, they decided to wait out the storm, so they could get married outside. I’m so glad they did! The storm passed within ten minutes, and the guests were out at their seats only 15 minutes late. The reason this has become one of my favorite ceremonies is because the entire ceremony was accompanied by the loudest cracks of thunder I had heard in years.

It was a dream situation!

Not a drop of rain, just the wonderful sounds of thunder echoing around. It actually was timed perfectly with the ceremony. So much so that one cracked at the exact moment that the officiant told the couple to kiss!

What a memorable way to seal the deal!

Another reason this wedding day will be one to remember is because Danielle and Frank’s relationship is the absolute cutest. During their private vows, Danielle said one of my favorite lines. “I got your back. I got your front. And I got your side of fries!” Is that not the sweetest? Also, Danielle’s family always called her their ray of sunshine, so when her sister stood up to give the matron of honor speech she referenced it and crowned Frank the sky. The one to be there and support her, plus allow her to shine bright for all to see.

My heart melted all day long for these two!

Lastly, this day is one to remember because of the stunning wedding details! Danielle wore the most beautiful dress! So many details but yet still so elegant and simple! I am in love with it. The bouquets by Green Meadows Florist were gorgeous and full of so many vibrant colors. Everyone who walked by commented on them right away. But the cherry on top was that her mom grew ALL the other flowers to decorate the ceremony and reception space. It was her first time trying it, and she knocked it out of the park!

This day, hands-down, will live in my memory forever. What a blessing it is to photograph the most beautiful and special days! The biggest congrats to you two newlyweds! Thank you for welcoming me into your families for the day. Enjoy some of my absolute favorites below!
