Elegant Barn at Silverstone Wedding

A question I often get from couples before they book me is if I have been to their venue before. Most times, they ask because they hope you have so that you are familiar with all the best locations and can make sure things run smoothly on their day. Sometimes, though, they ask because if you have been there a ton, they want to make sure you can make their wedding look different from all the rest.

They want theirs to be unique!

Which is completely understandable! Your relationship is unique, so your wedding day should be, too. The Barn at Silverstone is a venue that I shoot at several times a year. I love the challenge of finding new locations and angles to photograph the couple in throughout the day. Rossy and Alan’s elegant Barn at Silverstone wedding was filled with new spots. To me, it felt like I was there for the very first time.

I am obsessed with how they turned out!

The best part, though, was that it wasn’t just the venue that makes this day unique. Rossy’s hair, by Liz Alvarado, and make up, by Yvette Delgado, highlighted her beautiful face, while her dress from Bijou Bridal was a show-stopper! She looked stunning! And Alan in his tan suit from Generation Tux looked so dapper.

The day just kept getting better and better.

When the full wedding party all lined up, my jaw dropped! The mauve silk bridesmaid dresses accompanied by the navy groomsmen suits tied the entire look together! I was obsessed! Plus, the stunning florals by Lace and Peonies throughout the entire day were breathtaking. Rossy and Alan put a lot of thought into every detail, and it paid off!

Even with all the stunning details, there was one thing that shocked me even more. At our engagement session and the beginning part of the wedding day, Alan was pretty quiet. Super sweet but a bit more reserved than Rossy. I would crack a smile out of him every now and then, but overall, he was just chill. However, when he is surrounded by his friends and family, he turns into the life of the party!

He tricked me!

It was so fun watching him break out of his shell. He hit the dance floor hard and made the most of the reception, with Rossy by his side the entire time. These two sure know how to have a great time! Their day was filled with so many surprises in the best way possible! I couldn’t be happier for the two of them. I hope their celebration never ends!
