Whimsical Valley Garden Park Engagement Session

Have you ever watched Anne of Green Gables? I have not, but when Julia reached out about that being the inspiration for her engagement session, I instantly got an image in my mind for how it would look.

So crazy how our brains work.

Julia and Nathan executed this session beautifully. From the perfectly coordinated outfits to the adorable hats and the stunning backdrop, this whimsical Valley Garden Park engagement session turned out incredible! Once you scroll through the photos below, you’ll have to let me know which hat you like better. One of them actually has a name – the Fascinator! I didn’t even know that was a thing. It surely fascinated me every time it was in a shot.

Can you tell I’m a little obsessed with hats?

Julia wore them so well, and they added so much variety to the gallery. I loved it! Valley Garden also provided so many different backdrops for their session. A tree grove. Cute wood bridge. A low hanging branch to sit on. The list goes on and on. We maximized every part of this session.

Julia and Nathan, you two were an absolute treat to work with! I loved taking a moment when I was getting ready for a shot and just listening to the two of you chat together. You each make the other so happy, and it was apparent throughout the session. Julia always checking to make sure Nathan was good, and Nathan willing to try anything that Julia wanted to do. You two work so well together! I’m so happy for you both and am sending the biggest congratulations on your engagement!
