I shot this Lititz senior session with five graduating girls from my Class of 2026 spokesmodel team. Joelle, Piper, Madi, Ally, and Alivia met me downtown for an evening of caps, gowns, and a lot of laughing. They already knew each other well, and that friendship showed in every photo we took.
Cap & Gown Portraits for a Lititz Senior Session
First, we started with individual portraits. Each girl posed in front of the historic stone buildings that line Downtown Lititz. The white-trimmed windows made the perfect backdrop. Navy, red, and orange gowns popped against the timeless architecture. Each senior brought her own style to the camera. Some stayed classic and composed. Others laughed through every shot. All of them looked like themselves, and that’s exactly the goal.
Decorated Graduation Caps Steal the Show
Next, we moved to my favorite part of every cap and gown session: the cap close-ups. One senior decorated her cap with a gold “26” tassel charm. Another covered hers in cat stickers that read “I’m meowt of here.” A third created a tiny gallery wall with a black-and-white photo collage and pom-pom trim. Because these details take real time and creativity, I always make sure to capture them up close. If you’re planning your own cap and gown session next year, start sketching your design now.
Candid Photos with the Spokesmodel Team
Once we finished the formal portraits, the group let loose. They slung their gowns over their shoulders and walked arm in arm down the sidewalk. They threw their caps into the air. Then they turned their backs to the camera and threw up peace signs for a black-and-white shot I love. This is the part of every session where real friendships show, and it’s always my favorite to capture.
College Reveal Wraps Up the Session
After the candid shots, we wrapped up with a college reveal. Each girl pulled on a t-shirt from her future school. Joelle will head to West Chester. Piper chose Coastal Carolina University. Madi picked York College. Ally will attend High Point University. Alivia will attend Penn State. Watching them pose together, piggyback rides included, made me a little emotional. They’re about to scatter across the country, but this Lititz senior session captured them together one last time.
