The Star Barn Summer Wedding

There are weddings that hit every single emotion in one day. Alyssa and Rob’s Star Barn summer wedding at Stone Gables Estate in Elizabethtown, PA did exactly that. Emotional, God-centered, celebratory, and absolutely wild in the best way.

And yes, a baby rode down the aisle in a white toy car. We will get to that.

From Hinge to a Sleigh Ride in Colorado

Alyssa and Rob met on Hinge. From the very beginning, they were the kind of people who show up fully for each other. When it was time to propose, Rob took her to Colorado and got down on one knee in the middle of a sleigh ride through the snow. She said yes, of course.

The following year, they celebrated with a small, intimate ceremony. Just the two of them and their closest people. But they always wanted more. More people, more joy, more of a celebration of everything they were building together. So on June 27, 2026, they gathered their whole village at Stone Gables Estate and renewed their vows. This time, everyone was there. And so was Hayden.

Getting Ready for a Star Barn Summer Wedding

The morning was joyful from the very first moment. Alyssa got ready with her mom, her grandmother, her bridesmaids, and a champagne bottle that nobody let stay corked for long. The energy was pure happiness.

Then she did something I had never seen before. As each bridesmaid walked down the aisle, Alyssa’s voice came over the music. She had recorded a personal message for every single one of them. Talking about their friendship, the memories they shared, and what each woman meant to her. Guests heard it all.

Her bouquet carried its own meaning too. Alyssa dedicated it to her mom, the person who poured herself into making this day happen. After the ceremony, the two of them shared a special mother-daughter dance in the Star Barn. That moment was everything.

A First Look in the Rain — and a Baby on the Aisle

Before the ceremony, Alyssa and Rob had their first look inside the ornate green solarium at Stone Gables Estate. Rain fell quietly all around the glass. Inside, it was just the two of them, reading private vows, holding hands, completely locked in on each other.

Then came the ceremony.

Hayden arrived down the aisle in a tiny white toy car. He had on a little tan vest and a bow tie. He was grinning the whole way down. The guests had absolutely no idea it was coming. But behind my camera, I heard Rob take the biggest, most emotional sigh the moment he saw Hayden coming. That sound said more than any photo ever could.

The Star Barn Summer Wedding Ceremony

The outdoor ceremony at Stone Gables Estate was breathtaking. Guests sat on white benches on the green lawn. The white gazebo altar stood in front of a sparkling pond. The iconic Star Barn buildings stretched out in the background. The ceremony was Christ-centered, deeply personal, and full of the kind of love that fills every corner of a space and spills out into the crowd.

Alyssa arrived by horse and carriage, a complete surprise for guests. Her dad sat beside her. When they came around the bend and into view, the entire guest crowd reacted at once.

During the final prayer, Rob held Hayden in his arms. Alyssa held his hand as they prayed. The three of them stood at that altar together. That is a moment I will carry with me for a long time.

After a big, happy dip kiss at the recessional, they climbed back into the carriage and rode away as husband and wife. Again.

The Star Barn Summer Wedding Reception

The Star Barn reception was warm and stunning. Exposed wood beams, string lights wrapping the columns, a wrought iron chandelier overhead, and tables set with blue crystal goblets and tall pink taper candles.

Then Rob and Alyssa made their entrance on his dirt bike. She had her arm raised. She was laughing so hard she could barely hold on. The crowd completely lost it.

And then came the garter removal. Rob rolled in on a mechanic’s creeper, slid right under her dress, and had actual tools in hand like it was a car up on a lift. I have photographed 100 weddings. That was the single funniest garter removal I have ever seen.

After the first dance, Alyssa brought her mom onto the floor for a dance just between the two of them. Then she held Hayden close and swayed with him under the string lights. He reached up and touched her face. She was completely undone.

The night ended with sparklers, sunglasses, and so much joy it was impossible to stand still.
