Phew. A spring Water’s Edge Event Center wedding may be my new favorite thing!

Nate stood at the front of the aisle at Saint Ignatius Church in Forest Hill, Maryland with the biggest smile on his face. Any nerves he had were quickly covered by the overwhelming excitement to finally see his bride.

This day was so up-in-the-air only a couple months ago.

As the music quietly transitioned, all eyes turned to the back of the church. There, standing in the doorway, was Paige in her beautiful gown. With her dad by her side, and the biggest smile across both of their faces.

They slowly began to make the walk down the aisle.

Down the aisle to the man she was only moments away from marrying. The one her family welcomed into their family with open arms. As if his smile wasn’t big enough, with each step Paige took with her long veil flowing behind, Nate’s face lit up more and more!

These two were perfect for each other.

From the first time I chatted with them, I knew it wouldn’t take long for us to form a close friendship. It happened quite immediately. Other than the engagement session, I don’t always have the chance to meet up with my couples in-person before the wedding day. Luckily, Paige and Nate had been referred to me by one of my other brides who got married this past September. So when their wedding came around, I had the amazing opportunity to not only say hi while they were showing their moves on the dance floor but also to eat with them at the same table during the reception! It was so special just have that extra time to get to know them and to see how wedding planning was going.

It truly means so much to me to form a friendship with each of my couples!

Paige and Nate, I feel like it was just yesterday that I received your inquiry! Where did the time go? Yet at the same time, I feel like I have known you two for years! You two have the sweetest souls and know how to break it down on the dance floor! I have absolutely loved getting to know you, and fingers crossed I’ll get to see you again soon 😉
